Camera exported to XNA


I want to export a camera to XNA via kwxport. Is attaching a bone to the camera and then using the bone the only way to do it?

I'm getting mad trying to do it in 3ds max. I can attach the bone to any object (i.e. a cilinder in the youtube tutorial) and export it, but I'm totally unable to do that with a camera: I attach the bone to the camera, but when I move the bone the camera stands still.

If there's an alternative way (or maybe give me some tips on how to get that done on 3ds max please, i.e. must it be a free camera or a target camera?)
