Textures and X-port (Solved)

Hi, I'm a lot more familiar with your animation library and exporter now and again, I think it's fantastic.

I'm having trouble with exporting my meshes with textures. I can get the mesh exported but it's black in the directx viewer. How should my 3dsmax material be setup? Right now it's a standard material with a diffuse image as a texture.

Edit* The texture is listed inside of the x file and everything appears alright (clearly only at my experience level)

Unchecking the flip winding

Unchecking the flip winding option in the x-port plugin corrects the issue.

I'm glad you found a solution so quickly!

You should also know that if you're using a standard material in Max, but check the "export shader" button, then the exported shader parameters will not be right in version 1.4.0 of the exporter that I released the other day. I recommend either using DirectX Materials and checking Export Shaders, or using Standard materials and unchecking Export Shaders until then.
