Semi-Transparent Materials?

Is it possible to use the shaders that come with the kilowatt animation processor to show transparency in images? I have PNG files which have alpha channels but those areas show as white when I view the models with the animation viewer. Is it possible to use images with alpha transparency? And is it possible to have semi-transparent materials like glass?

The sample "archer" uses transparency both for the hair and for the bow.

Thanks

I didn't realize that I needed to use the diffusexparent shader in max, I thought xparent was refering to the parent object which now that I read it again makes perfect sense, xparent, as in transparent. I was using png files for transparency, but I can see that it needs to be in tga for it to work. My models look good now, thanks for an awesome animation processor!
